A Flash of my Stash
This winter marked my one year anniversary of being a "knitter". After viewing some stashes of the... more experienced, shall we say... I am a bit embarrassed to show my lil stash... hehe well, here goes nothing.
Here it is, folks: the whole stash:

This box is full of yarn I bought from smileysyarns.com Supposedly, this is all planned for projects, but I haven't attempted them yet. Hopefully soon, these will turn into adorable baby clothes :)

This is the embarrassing collection for all the snobby knitters (i use the term affectionately). Behold, my acrylic yarn (that I use more often than not):

This is a stash of the more expensive... haha still not too fancy... yarn. I like them but I don't really know what to do with them...

So there you have it, my stash :) While I don't necessarily aspire to have much more yarn than this at any one time, I do look forward to growing with this hobby and join the ranks with you knitters with so much more experience (and free time?) under your belt. Thanks for stopping by!

V-ron, don't be embarassed by your stash be proud (I am the one who should feel some embarassment). I can't wait to see the baby clothes (I am putting you on my blogroll baby) and congratulations on your one year anniversary; it only gets better. Definitely stick to your goal of not having too much wool - it is very inspired!
Lovely stash...I personally feel that there is always room for some acrylic in every stash!
Nice yarn heap.
See my stash flash here
You got all that from Smiley's Yarns in NYC, didn't you? ;) I love going there, even though I don't buy acrylic anymore. When I need to dye/felt something I can go there for a steal on Patons Classic wool. Have you used any of the Grignasco yet? How does it feel? I look and look but I can never seem to think of something to make with it and I can't see myself just felting it, ya know?
Hey! We're in Stitchin' Bitch Forum together on myspace!
I love your acrylic stash! Sometimes I wish I had more of it because it's perfect for knitted graffiti. You're a Hell's Knitters friend...(I am the face behind the myspace profile....LOL)
Also, I bought some of that Moda Dea Dream yarn and made 4 baby socks out of one skein! size two needles....they were fun and easy and almost instantly gratifying! I gave them out to all my pregnant friends.
Yay for stashes! And what a nice stash it is!! *waves*
